Open Air Series: Northport Yoga + Hydrosol Seminar

Start your Saturday with a gentle, all-levels yoga class at the Northport Pavilion, led by Jan Van Elslander. With the harbor just steps away and the farmers market in full swing, it’s the perfect way to ease into the weekend. This class is part of River Studio’s Open Air Series, with all donations supporting the Leelanau Conservancy — and every dollar matched by River Studio. Please bring your own mat. (Our automated emails say we have a mat - but that applies to in studio classes. If you do not own a mat, please let us know and we are happy to provide you with a travel mat.)

Following class, join herbalist Isa Scott of Circles & Cycles for Aromatic Waters: Hydrosol Seminar & Sampling (ticketed separately). You’ll learn how plant hydrosols are created through steam and hydro distillation, how they differ from essential oils, and how to use them in skincare, aromatherapy, and ritual. Attendees will sample a variety of artisan-distilled hydrosols and receive a printed takeaway guide and a small bottle of freshly distilled hydrosol for an added sensory experience.

After the workshop, head over to The Find North, just a short walk away, for croissants generously donated by 9 Bean Rows and 20% off in-store purchases for workshop participants.

The yoga class is all levels open to all. We recommend signing up in advance so we can plan accordingly and keep you in the loop.

Minimum Donation Requested: $10.00
