Open Air Series: Beach Yoga and Paddle Boarding in Suttons Bay

This intimate beachside class invites you to move with the rhythm of the lake. Practicing directly on the sand — on a quiet, private lot tucked behind Inland Seas — you’ll be reminded of exactly what we’re here to protect.

All donations from this class go directly to the Leelanau Conservancy, whose work helps preserve the shoreline beneath your feet and the clean water stretching in front of you. River Studio will match every dollar raised.

After class, enjoy a complimentary paddleboarding session (9–10 AM) thanks to Suttons Bay Bikes, and take home a 50% off coupon to The Hive, a local favorite for wellness and gathering.

Limited to 15 participants. Please bring a beach towel instead of a yoga mat.

About the Location: This class takes place on a small private beach just behind the Inland Seas Education Center in Suttons Bay, Michigan. The beach is quiet and peaceful, but compact and slightly sloped — so come prepared for an uneven surface and a little adventure.

Inland Seas is located at 100 Dame St, Suttons Bay, MI 49682. You’ll find the education center behind the main building. Follow the dune grass–lined path to the private beach, where we’ll be set up for class. Due to the size of the beach, space is limited to 15 participants.

Minimum Donation Requested: $10.00
